Our Lips, Can Touch. Our Cheeks, Can Brush.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Ok I just wanted to say... I SO overreacted about that portfolio review thing. I was stressing over nothing. They were nothing but kind and very helpful to me. I got everything worked out and I will be graduating in June. Sort of scary... EEEP!

Well, to start of I woke up today around 6 am nervous as hell about that portfolio review. I was ready by 8 am and I just waited for Marina to come pick me up. My mom saw that I was very nervous and tried to get me to relax but I was basically in a panic. I really did think that I was going to get pounded on about how little I had to offer. 9 am comes around and Marina comes and picks me up. We are both freaking out haha. We get there about an hour before she has to do her portfolio review. So to waste time we watched each others editing projects. The first guy was 8 minutes late and they spent over 20 minutes with him. They finally get to Marina and I wished her well when she left. It seemed like she was gone for a while. But, I talked to a couple of peers of mine. We caught up on old times and different stories. Apparently I wasn't the only one who was told last minute about this thing haha.

Slowly after everyone ahead of me goes there is only one person left that is ahead of me and he just walked out of the room to go somewhere. So I am sitting alone reading my book and then Aleem comes in looking for that guy. He never found him so he wrote him a note and then took me to the room where the review was to happen. I was freaking out inside. But the whole experience was very pleasent. There are a few things I need to work on and just some things I need to keep in contact with them on.

I don't really want to go to work tomorrow but I have to. Sucks when you need money haha. Well, I guess that will be all for now. Take care people! :D

I Feel A Migraine Coming On...

I am tired of all this damn stress!!! I will be happy when I get my portfolio review over with AND that meeting with Mark done. I want to know what is going to be happening next quarter cause it is supposed to be my last one.

I will seriously break down crying if tomorrow goes badly. I am not even just saying it as a joke. I will cry. I have a gut feeling that I am gonna be torn apart about what I submitted and everything. I honestly am really proud of the two essays I submitted. I think they represent me pretty well as a writer. But I may be COMPLETELY off by that. I really hope I am just over reacting. ::sighs::

I can feel this crippling migraine coming on with all this lack of sleep. I have been so consumed by Portfolio review stuff and midterms that my sleep has been lacking big time. I can feel the pressure of my headache on the side of my head.. Not cool. With all this stress I think it's been making me sick. I have been nauseous and not myself lately. Sometimes I feel as if I am losing my mind and I break down crying cause I am so frustrated. I am really looking forward to Chicago more now.

I got to hear Chevelle's song Anti-Saint today. Very good stuff! The more I listen the more I like. I was going to write more but I really don't have anything to write about. Just stuff I'd rather keep to myself. Take care folks!

Me & You, Setting In A Honeymoon, If I Woke Up Next To You

Hola folks,

First and foremost I just want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA! I had to miss the birthday dinner cause I had school. :(. I celebrated for her at Dennys. haha, More about that later.

Today was pretty cool. I got my radio show thing done and now I just have to start on my midterm.. Honestly, I have no damn clue how the heck I am gonna put that thing together.... I'll figure something out haha. I hope.. EEEP! Let's see what else happened... Oh yea speaking of Midterms I need to start on my Audio 2 midterm. I need to look up some info for my paper.

When I finally met up with Marina she gave me a gift bag from her "Instant Star" party she went to this past weekend. I told her I would wear it tomorrow and I will. Muahaha. Ok, so Marina and I went to Dennys today and I finally got my Vegetable Beef soup. We speant a total of three hours there. That is a new record I swear! lol. It was mostly because we were waiting for our waitress to give us the check haha. But, we were so hyper it was not even funny. There was some party that was applauding for some reason and we would go "Wooo!!!" when we heard it haha. So hyper. Then when she dropped me off I could not get out of her car. The door was stuck on my lawn haha.

Speaking of weekends I should let you all know about mine haha. Friday I worked and it was just a normal day I guess... But Saturday I wasn't feeling very good so I called out. But, I also called out so I could go to the panal Patrick Stump was on and to wait in line at the Roxy to see Fall Out Boy again. Alas, I got there too late to see Patrick so I waited in line with my friend Maryann and my cousin William. We met some interesting people and I had a great time hanging out with them. So many happy memories.

We ended up getting tickets and the show was pretty awesome. Here is the link to the photos:

Don't Pretend You Ever Forgot About Me

That's right! ;) lol. Sorry for the serious lack in writing entries. Life has been busy busy busy!

Let's see, HmMm Oh yea. Fall Out Boy's album Infinity On High came out on the 6th. They did a big promotion for it by doing a thing called Infinity Flight 206. What they did was start off playing TRL in New York City in the morning. They then flew out to their hometown Chicago to play at the house of blues. After that they ended their journey in Los Angeles on top of the Pacific Stock Exchange building. Guess who was amoung about a couple hundred other lucky winners to be there. That's right, me! :D Though they were late I had an amazing time! I got to take one guest so I took my friend Maryann. I guess I should write out my "review" of it huh? lol.

Ok, well to start off the day before I went down to the Wiltern to pick up my tickets... They were not there.. Wasted trip. So I got to school and have a nice lovely day in Editing 2 and Audio 2. I go back to the Wiltern the day of the show and I finally get my tickets. They are a really pretty blue hehe. Ok, so yea I go to the Ralphs down the street and I buy this naked smoothie thing. It was very tastey but I got skipped over by the bus twice and I thought I was going to be late for my History of Cinema class. Luckily I was not late but I did however have to leave early so I could get down to the PSE building in time.

I noticed the fog coming in and it was FREEZING! So I wait for the bus to come and I get down to the Fox Hills Mall where I wait so more for another bus. I am trying to listen to some FOB on the way there to get me in the mood for the show. My friend Maryann calls me to find out where I was because she was pretty much at my bus stop already waiting haha. I get to the bus stop and I start walking towards the wrong car but luckily I call Maryann to find out if that was even her or not. Obviously it was not her so I walk the other direction and cross the street to meet up with my friend.

It's not too long until we get to the PSE building and we get out of the car and get in the end of the long line that was already there. As we waited we got some lovely My Chemical Romance valentines day cards. Some people were taking photos too.. I don't think I got in any haha. Well, we get inside and we wait... wait.. Oh and we wait. We were waiting in line so long that a woman called a Thai place and ordered food to be delivered and they did haha. She had time to sit down and eat and still not miss FOB because their plane was a bit late cause of bad weather in Chicago. Plus they landed in Burbank.. Which is pretty far from LA I believe.

When we had to get in a single file line to the elevators I was joking around with Maryann saying "Quit talking behind my back!" because my back was to her since we were in line and all haha. You had to be there... hahaha. Let's see what else.. HmMm Oh we met two lovely ladies by the name of Joanna and Giselle (sp), I am sorry if I A. got the names wrond and B. misspelled them, they didn't have tickets but security let them up because there was TONS of space for them to stand. We chatted for a while and waited for the band to arrive.

John Norris finally came out and did a short inro and gave the mic to Dirty for his own intro for the band. Before the band came out they played I Walk The Line by Johnny Cash. I can't really remember what songs and stuff but I will try and put a semi setlist. But, they finally came out and they looked tired. I felt bad but they really got the energy up when they started to play. It's nice to go to a show and just have an all around good time. So far I have seen this band twice and I have had a blast. They are gonna play on Saturday at the Roxy so I am pretty sure I am gonna go to that too. haha. I can't help it if it a for sure good time. It's not that often I get to see a good band play more than once within the same week. :D

Here is the links to the photos I took the other night:

Have a good one folks! I will write more I hope. :D
